STEM Sprouts at the Global Sustainability Awards

STEM Sprouts was invited to the Global Sustainability Awards North America, held at Emory University's Goizueta Business School in Atlanta, where our team had a booth to share our work bringing free STEM education to elementary students and connected with other sustainability-minded organizations.

Why we were there

STEM Sprouts' mission connects directly to sustainability, particularly through our work building an offline-first STEM education network across schools in Siaya, Kenya. Being invited to this event gave us a chance to put that work in front of a wider sustainability-focused audience.

At our booth

At our booth, we displayed what STEM Sprouts does and talked with visitors about our work in Kenya, giving more people a chance to learn about our organization.

New connections

We had the chance to speak with the organizers behind the Global Sustainability Awards as well as several of the event's awardees, connecting with other individuals and organizations working in the sustainability space.

What's next

Nothing is scheduled yet, but the connections made with the organizers and awardees at this event are ones we hope to build on going forward.
